THE PUBLICATION

Editorial standards and source boundaries

Rental Workflow Atlas is published by tomas. It is an independent editorial publication, not an AppFolio service or a property-management firm.

Three types of statement

  1. Public source context: a limited product fact supported by a linked primary source.
  2. Editorial method: our suggested way to clarify responsibility, evidence and the next action.
  3. Operational decision: an action or conclusion belonging to the actual authorized team.

Names and product scope

We focus on rental workflows around AppFolio Property Manager. We do not treat AppFolio Investment Manager, association-homeowner tools and rental-owner workflows as interchangeable. Current public pages may use FolioSpace or Performance Platform language; a name or feature reference is not a claim that every account has the same configuration.

Dates and limits

Source-check dates identify when public material was reviewed. We do not claim continuous monitoring, private-account testing, guaranteed response times, legal compliance, screening outcomes or financial returns. Promotional AI claims, customer quotations and vendor performance statistics are not reproduced as our own findings.

Examples and planner

All scenarios are explicitly fictional. The planner uses generic selections, does not connect to a product account and does not submit or store a work plan. Its readiness count reflects only the boxes selected, not actual authority or operational completion.
