Read every article and use the handoff planner without optional storage. Open cookie settings. Policy date: October 21, 2026.
Your choice
Accept optional enables local reading-position memory. Reject optional leaves it off. Settings lets you choose the reading feature directly. Closing settings without saving does not accept it. Missing, invalid or expired choices default to off. The footer link reopens the controls.
Cookie and browser-storage inventory
Reading-feature storage
Storage controlled by this publication’s reader features| Name and type | Purpose and data | Duration and control |
|---|
rwa_privacy_v1 First-party cookie | Preference version, reading choice and timestamp after a deliberate saved choice. | Up to 180 days, scoped to this website path. A later saved choice replaces it; browser controls can remove it. |
|---|
rwa_reading_v1 localStorage | Optional article paths, reading positions and timestamps. Initialized only after consent, including an empty record on non-article pages. | Entries at least 180 days old are ignored on read and removed on the next permitted write; each write keeps at most 30 records. Reading alone does not rewrite the record. Rejection or disabling attempts removal. Unused storage can remain until a later write, rejection or browser removal. |
|---|
Handoff planner inputs Page memory | Generic issue/status selections and four preparation checkboxes. No account-data fields. | Not saved or transmitted by the tool. Clear or reload resets the current state. |

Other website technologies
The handoff planner and reading controls do not include analytics, advertising tags or third-party media players. Other WordPress plugins, embedded content and hosting services can operate separately. Reading-preference controls govern only the reading feature; they do not control those services or establish a complete inventory of the website.
WordPress sign-in and administration may use separate authentication cookies for signed-in users. These reading controls do not remove authentication cookies, email, server logs or records at linked websites. This list describes reading-feature storage and any additional details the publisher has supplied.
Withdrawal and duration
A saved preference lasts up to 180 days unless your browser removes it sooner. Rejection stops subsequent reading-memory writes and attempts to remove its saved record. Reading entries at least 180 days old are ignored when read and removed on the next permitted write; each write retains at most 30 entries. Unused localStorage can remain until a later write, rejection or browser removal.
Scope of these controls
The handoff planner uses page memory only. These controls do not block ordinary server logs, WordPress administrator authentication or technologies installed separately. They do not change settings on external websites. See the Privacy Policy for delivery and email handling.
Browser limitations
With JavaScript disabled, settings links lead to this policy and optional reading storage is not used. If storage is blocked, the feature reports the limitation and remains off. Choices apply to this browser and site path, not all devices. Send privacy questions to lisatomas@gmail.com, without private resident or account information.
