What we map
We follow the crossings between leasing, maintenance coordination, resident communication and the records that connect them. Our central question is not which product has the longest feature list. It is whether the receiving role understands the next action and has the appropriate authority to take it.
What we do not provide
We are not a property manager, software vendor, consultant of record, account-support service, payment intermediary or vendor-dispatch desk. We do not host sign-in, collect resident records, evaluate applicants, approve invoices or offer legal or financial advice. AppFolio Investment Manager and investment-portal operations are outside this publication’s scope.
Evidence and original methods
We link public primary sources for narrow product context. Our process maps, planning questions and fictional examples are original editorial methods. No private customer account, actual tenant file or production workflow was tested. Source-check dates identify a review, not continuous monitoring.
